North Kingston Choir is an informal and relaxed adult community choir with an emphasis on fun music-making! We sing mainly modern and uplifting music.
No auditions - we believe everyone can sing! We rehearse and perform with our live band. Our rehearsals are on Mondays during term-time from 8 - 9.30pm in Kingston, Surrey, UK.
The NKC ethos is to provide an inclusive contemporary musical experience that is friendly, fun and energising. It seeks to challenge but also inspire and hopes to provide that all-important “me” time.

Musical Director
Jessica Bate co-founded the choir and has since been Musical Director. Her classical music training was in piano, voice and violin at the Junior Guildhall School of Music and Drama. She firmly believes in the social and health benefits of group singing.
“Singing is such a powerful way to boost your mood and raise self-esteem. I am passionate about group singing as a tonic for the stresses of our busy lives. I hope NKC singers leave each rehearsal feeling happy, energised and relaxed!”
